1. What the service provides
Find My Paw provides pet profiles, QR identification links, owner tools, Lost Mode contact information, optional finder sightings, notifications, and administration. It is not a continuously reporting GPS device or an emergency response service. Scans and submitted locations do not prove a pet’s current location.
2. Your account and pet information
Use an account you are authorized to control, protect your credentials, and keep emergency contacts accurate. Publish only pet photos, contact information, and other content you have permission to use. Do not place sensitive personal information in public pet notes.
Review the public profile before sharing a tag. Activating Lost Mode makes configured emergency contacts public. Rewards and recovery arrangements are between the people involved; the application does not process reward payments.
3. Acceptable use
Do not submit false or abusive sightings, impersonate others, harass owners or finders, access another person’s account or records without permission, upload unlawful content, or interfere with the service. Do not use personal information obtained from a pet profile for unrelated contact or marketing.
4. Account management and requests
You can manage account details and pets in the dashboard. Deleting a pet disables its database-backed profile and QR destination. Account deletion is handled through a verified request with pending, processing, completed, or rejected status. Creating a request does not automatically remove your account or its records. Only an authorized admin can carry out account deletion.
Requests may require identity verification and review of records that need to be retained. Completion is recorded only with processing evidence and an accurate explanation of remaining limitations. See the Privacy Policy for data handling.
5. Practical limitations
Recovery depends on someone finding the pet, accessing its tag or link, and choosing to act. Email delivery, network access, browser geolocation, storage availability, and third-party services can fail. The service does not guarantee recovery, delivery of every alert, or accuracy of a finder’s submission.
No contractual warranty exclusion, liability cap, indemnity, or jurisdiction-specific waiver is asserted here without owner/legal review.
6. Content and intellectual property
You are responsible for having the rights needed to upload and publish your content. The service stores and displays submitted content to operate pet profiles and recovery features. Ownership, licensing language, trademark rights, and any broader usage rights require owner/legal confirmation; this text does not invent them.
7. Moderation and termination
Authorized administrators can suspend accounts and hide or flag profiles; super admins can soft-delete profiles. These controls support platform administration. Suspension and account termination are different from verified erasure of all associated data.
The grounds, notice, appeal/contact procedure, and any contractual termination rights require owner/legal confirmation.
8. Legal details and changes
Owner/legal confirmation needed: operator identity and address, privacy/support contact, eligibility rules, governing law, dispute process, and any consumer terms. No jurisdiction or legal protection has been assumed.
When you accept these Terms, the application records this version and the timestamp. Reading or acknowledging the Privacy Policy is not consent to every processing purpose. Optional marketing consent is not bundled with Terms acceptance.
